Stephen Tembo

Stephen Tembo is a seasoned development consultant with over 34 years of professional experience spanning government, development programs, and private sector consultancy. He specializes in program and project planning, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), participatory approaches, and management information systems (MIS). Stephen’s expertise also includes agricultural and rural development, policy analysis, natural resource management, and mainstreaming cross-cutting issues like gender and climate change.

An excellent communicator fluent in English, Nyanja, and Bemba, Stephen is a member of professional bodies such as the Economic Association of Zambia and the Africa Evaluation Association (AfrEA). He has contributed extensively to projects across Zambia and the SADC/COMESA regions, focusing on enhancing smallholder livelihoods and poverty alleviation.
